North Bay Unit Updates – COVID 19, Work Party & Rides

Howdy BCHers,

First, we hope you’re all safe and healthy. Nobody knows how long we’re going to have to practice this social distancing, but it’s crucial that we comply to keep COVID 19 from spreading. This is a good opportunity to get those barn projects we’ve been putting off done, catch up on those phone calls to family and old friends we’ve been meaning to make, read those books we haven’t had time to. Most of all, make sure you take care of yourself. Call a close friend if you’re having a hard time. This can be very isolating, and staying connected is important.

Your current board members had the regularly scheduled meeting via conference call. Here are the primary items discussed:

2020 Rendezvous…….
I’m sure all of you who were planning on going to the Rendezvous in Red Bluff, know it’s been postponed. It’s tentatively rescheduled for May 29-31…..and BCHC board will re-evaluate again April 30 whether we can proceed or cancel this year’s Rendezvous. Keep your eyes peeled for an email from BCHC, or better yet, check the website for updates. http://bchcalifornia.org/

Work Party and Ride……
The NBU Board had tentatively scheduled a Lower Lone Rock work party and ride for April 18-19. As of now, is now postponed. We do not have a tentative date yet…..but it hopefully be before the moonlight ride (assuming we’re not still on lockdown).

May Ride…….
We also had a ride scheduled for May 15-17, which as of now is cancelled.

Moonlight Ride……
The Moonlight Ride is scheduled for August 1-2! As of now, it has NOT been cancelled! This gathering will be much needed after this “lockdown”, so bring a friend (with their checkbook to join the unit) and plan on some good socializing, food, and ride!

** We do need volunteers to help make this ride happen! Please let us know how you can help out by filling out this RSVP and HELP form. RSVP and Volunteer Form
**Please RSVP no later than July 25.

Keeping You Informed….
We’ll do our best to keep you informed via as many ways as possible. Email, our webpage, and if you have Facebook, make sure you connect with us there and “LIKE” our page.

Thank you for your support of BCHA, BCHC, and our local unit.
We appreciate you!
