Horse Camp Cleanup – June 1-2, 2019

Come join us at Lower Lone Rock this Saturday and Sunday (June 1-2) for a Camp Cleanup Party!

We will meet Saturday morning, do mowing, weed eating, and basic cleanup of Camp.

The unit will provide lunch Saturday, dinner Saturday night, and Breakfast Sunday morning

Free Camping!

Bring your horse if you’d like and ride after work Saturday and Sunday 🙂

RSVP Required! We need to know how much food to bring for y’all!

Mendocino Complex fires Fire Hay Donations

BCHC North Bay Unit donated hay Saturday to the Helen Owens’ A1 Horse Programs. She so graciously is accepting large livestock from the evacuation areas of the Mendocino Complex fires, her ranch in located in Middletown – Hidden Valley Lake.

Our VP Tony has been out doing evacuations of livestock since Friday.

As the fires continue, so does our help of support especially for feeding of these animals, Calling upon all groups or individuals for donations and support to the evacuation ranches/shelters. We do not have a full list of the large animal shelters but here is what we do have:
